## About Konstant

Konstant is the nervous system for AI-native organizations. It adds a selection layer on top of existing AI infrastructure — patent-pending algorithms that ensure every tool, every agent, and every decision reflects what the organization actually cares about.

### Technology

Konstant's core technology is a selection layer — analogous to what ad tech built for conversion optimization and social platforms built for engagement, but for enterprise organizational priorities. This is not retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or similarity-based search. Konstant's algorithms govern context by organizational priority using:

- Priority scoring: proprietary selection algorithms that score information against organizational priorities (patent pending)
- Orphan detection: identifies critical information that has drifted from organizational awareness (patent pending)
- Priority-governed context assembly: a multi-step pipeline (intent clarification, question expansion, context assembly, quality pruning, governed synthesis) that ensures AI outputs reflect what matters to the organization, not just what's semantically similar to a query

### What Konstant Does

Gary, Konstant's AI collaborator, does three things:
- Executes: Handles work that doesn't need human judgment
- Escalates: Knows when human judgment matters and surfaces the right context to the right person
- Advocates: Represents organizational priorities to other agents, vendors, and tools across the entire agentic stack
